The Centro de Creación Contemporánea de Andalucía is proud to present the art works created by Arquitectura a Contrapelo, María Alcaide, Dos Bengalas, Alex Peña, Sota Pérez and Roberto Urbano during their residency at the C3A.

The six artists/collectives selected to participate in the 3rd C3A Research and Production Programme invite us, like Spanish philosopher Eugenio Trías, to explore the notion of the limes or limit as a practicable place free of obstacles, a space from which to observe and dwell, seeing irrationality as a common ground where art and religion coexist. The praxis of these artists-in-residence is situated in this border zone, the frontier in the creation and production of their ideas: a shifting of concepts that explores performative, sculptural, documentary and architectural aspects.
