On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of C3A.

This exhibition proposes a temporary museum in which the boundaries between periods, disciplines, and narratives become blurred. Through a dialogue between works on loan from institutions across Córdoba, pieces from the CAAC Collection, and new commissions produced specifically for the occasion, it generates new ways of reading the city, reflecting on its shared memories, conflicts, imaginaries, and the many ways in which urban space is inhabited.

Structured around the city of Córdoba, the exhibition explores a place that is at once singular and universal. A city built upon overlapping layers of time, memory, and transformation, where presences and absences, material traces and invisible histories coexist. It is a place where the agreements and conflicts inherent to urban life converge, reflecting historical processes that have profoundly shaped the ways in which we inhabit the world.

Throughout the exhibition, architecture, landscape, collective memory, and individual experience intertwine to offer a multifaceted vision of the city. It is evoked through diverse perspectives and shaped by different ways of seeing: at times through nostalgia and idealization, at others through the tensions, frictions, and conflicts that also form part of its everyday pulse.

The works brought together in the exhibition transcend their original contexts to open up new interpretations of the cultural, symbolic, and social meanings that shape urban life. This dialogue between past and present invites visitors to reflect on the multiple layers that constitute the city and on the ways these continue to influence our everyday experience.

Within this journey, C3A itself becomes an object of reflection, questioning its presence within the city that hosts it and its responsibility as a cultural institution committed to the community that surrounds it.

In the Media Library, a collaboration with the Contemporary Architecture Foundation creates a space for reflecting on the possibilities of architecture and urbanism through a series of projects that, in many cases, verge on utopia. The presentation is structured around three scales of spatial production: the body and its relationships, human and more-than-human ecosystems, and utopias.
