    ARTISTS¿ STUDIOS

One of the hallmarks of the C3A is the fact that it focuses primarily on production, creation and experimentation, giving audiences a chance to admire finished works but also, and most importantly, to understand the creative process and its outcome. For this reason, a key element of its programme is artistic residencies, during which artists are invited to work at the C3A studios. These studios comprise over 1,000 sqm of visual creation workshops and audiovisual labs, where artists can work on paintings, metal and wood sculptures, ceramics, and projects in other media that require digital technology, such as photography and video. They also have media lab equipment, including a 3D printer and scanner. The artistic production residencies have been one of the cornerstones of the centre¿s activity since it was founded, with the aim of becoming Andalusia¿s leading institution in this field.
