TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary and the C3A Centro de Creación Contemporánea de Andalucía invite you to come together and reunite at the reopening of the exhibition Remedios: Where new land might grow at C3A in Córdoba, Spain.

Remedios is a dynamic and ever-evolving proposition, shedding some of its layers while it grows. It beckons you to immerse yourself in an exhibition that breathes with life, where artworks and world-making practices intermingle, creating interstitial spaces that nurture connections and dialogues. In September 2023, the exhibition will reopen and present a new selection of works by acclaimed artists Etel Adnan, Fengyi Guo, Taloi Havini, Brad Kahlhamer, Regina de Miguel, Pierre Mukeba, Eduardo Navarro, Paulo Nazareth, Selma Selman, Himali Singh Soin, and Akeem Smith and Jessi Reaves that build on its ongoing exploration of reparation, restitution, recuperation, and the collective yearning for transformative care and healing.

You will encounter artworks that celebrate ancestral, curative, and spiritual practices, offering multiperspectival artistic visions that not only amplify the core themes of Remedios but also invite you to foster a profound sense of empathy and make space for the resounding presence of other histories and voices -those that have sometimes been neglected or forcefully erased- through the transformative power of art.
