The east facade of C3A, facing the Guadalquivir River, has been designed as a dynamic digital surface with monochrome white LED lights that project works created specifically for it every day, from sunset until midnight.

 

Its technological design was conceived by the multidisciplinary team realities (Berlin), considering both the texture and architectural appearance during daylight hours and at night. A field of 1,322 hexagonal bowls (referred to as bowls) integrates at different scales along a length of more than 100 meters.

 

The works currently displayed on the media facade are commissions made to invited artists over the past seven years.
