C3A is launching a new exhibition cycle focused on installation art. Through works from the Collection, co-productions, and newly commissioned pieces, we aim to explore how architecture shapes many of our experiences as citizens. With the work of various artists, we seek to reimagine the center as a public square where installations invite us to question and reflect on life as the driving force of the museum. In contrast to celebratory and monumental sculpture, we propose the artistic experience.

The cycle begins with a sound installation from the CAAC collection by Dionisio González (1965) and a walk-through sculpture by Cristina Iglesias (1956), along with works by Mexican artist Abraham González Pacheco (1987) and Leonor Serrano (1986). In the cases of Dionisio González and Abraham González, music and dance aim to expand the space beyond the institution¿s walls. Meanwhile, Cristina Iglesias offers an introspective approach to the relationship between nature and artificiality. Leonor Serrano joins them with a scenographic installation where different curtains take on a new dimension.
