Cecilia Bengolea. The Noise That Dwells

Cecilia Bengolea. The Noise That Dwells

28 November 2025 - 17 May 2026

Sala T2 del C3A

The work of Cecilia Bengolea (Buenos Aires, 1979) explores the relationship between body, matter, and environment as a living network where the human and the non-human interact without hierarchy. Through textile installations, ceramics, lenticulars, and films, Bengolea activates a sensory territory in which movement, light, water, and sound intertwine, transforming perception into a shared experience.

Her practice embodies an inclusive and plural aesthetics that acknowledges the agency of materials and ecosystems. The body is not a sovereign center, but a node vibrating alongside natural and technological forces, giving rise to an expanded choreography of the world.

In this universe, "the noise that dwells" is not dissonance but the very vibration of presence ¿ a murmur between gesture, matter, and environment that invites us to perceive through interconnection. Bengolea¿s work thus proposes inhabiting space in a poetic and conscious way, where art becomes an ecological, corporeal, and sensorial experience
