SUPERFLEX. Cuanto más sabes, mejor decides
SUPERFLEX. Cuanto más sabes, mejor decides
From 2nd of February until 9th of September 2018
T4 and Atrium spaces - Curator: Álvaro Rodríguez Fominaya
This project by SUPERFLEX consists of a series of installations that explore the nature of economic power and financial institutions, and its impact on society. While the economy is the central focus of the conversation, emigration and morality are also addressed in the show. SUPERFLEX takes a playful and subversive approach to the everyday matters that affect our lives, and views them within the broader framework of power structures.
Danish collective SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen and Rasmus Nielsen. With a diverse and complex practice, SUPERFLEX challenges the role of the artist in contemporary society and explores the nature of globalisation and systems of power. They are known for art works with wit and subversive humour that address serious social and cultural concerns. SUPERFLEX describe their works as tools - thereby suggesting multiple areas of application and use.
